Terms of service

Subscription terms.

Last updated 26 July 2026. Between you and Red Yellow Blue Pty Ltd.

  1. 01The service

FeeLetter is a subscription web application that helps your firm produce fee proposals. We provide it as described on this site and in your subscription confirmation.

  2. 02Your data is yours

You own all data you put into FeeLetter — your rate card, scope library, templates, proposals and generated documents. We claim no ownership over any of it. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process and display it in order to run the service for you, and nothing beyond that. We do not use your proposal content to train models.

  3. 03Fees and GST

Subscription fees are as published, in Australian dollars, excluding GST. GST is added for Australian customers. Setup and calibration is a separate one-off engagement.

  4. 04Payment

Invoiced monthly in advance, payable within 14 days. Design-partner firms are invoiced directly.

  5. 05Term and termination

Month to month. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing month. On cancellation your account becomes read-only with export retained — we will never lock you out of documents you created. Data is purged 90 days after cancellation.

  6. 06Trial

Fourteen days, full functionality, no card required. On expiry the account becomes read-only with export still available.

  7. 07Acceptable use

Do not use FeeLetter to store unlawful content, attempt to access another firm’s data, probe or disrupt the service outside a good-faith security report, or resell access without agreement.

  8. 08Availability

We do not offer a contractual SLA in the current version, and we would rather say so than publish one we are not yet positioned to honour. We target 99.5% monthly availability excluding scheduled maintenance, and we will tell you about incidents that affect you.

  9. 09Security and privacy

We handle personal information under our privacy policy and the Australian Privacy Principles. Our security practices are described on the security page.

  10. 10Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

  11. 11Professional responsibility

FeeLetter helps you produce a fee proposal. It does not provide professional, legal or financial advice, and the figures in any letter you send remain your firm’s responsibility to check — including statutory charges, which we maintain diligently but which you should reconcile against the regulator’s own calculator.

  12. 12Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance.

  13. 13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
